Hobbies

Throughout my graduate studies, I served as a teaching assistant for Molecular Biology courses. I monitored weekly four hour labs in Molecular Biology for two sessions and held a weekly tutorial in the course Intro to Molecular Biology for two sessions. Tutoring allowed me to gain experience in presenting and explaining material in a clear comprehensible manner. In addition, I worked in South Korea teaching English for a little more than a year following the completion of my Master’s Degree. It was an indispensable positive experience which allowed me to travel and venture into a different culture. In Korea, I taught grade school children a variety of subjects in English including: Math, Science, Social Studies and Reading.
