I work 1-on-1 with students from elementary to high school on several different topics. For instance, students who are learning Mandarin Chinese can benefit from working with a fluent speaker in 1-on-1 study sessions. Through a variety of teaching techniques, I can help students build a deeper connection to the language, such as incorporating movies and books or using language immersion to strengthen their pronunciation and fluency. I can help students review for exams that may be approaching in their science classes or answer questions about a tricky math problem. I can assist students in test prep, reviewing test-taking strategies or concepts to help them feel confident on the day of the test. My flexible schedule can help students find the time to study for their courses, regardless of their other obligations.
