Andy L.
Private tutor in Montréal, Canada
Education
I graduated from McMaster University with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Experience
I have a great passion for teaching knowledge and over 10 years of experience as a professional tutor. I can help with a variety of STEM topics, including (but not limited to) linear algebra, data structures, algorithms, probability, and graduate-level statistics. I can also teach popular programming languages such as Python and Java. Whether you need help with calculating the odds of a given event, object-oriented programming principles like recursion, or how to use sorting algorithms, I'm your guy. My teaching expertise extends to standardized exams as well. If you are taking CLEP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB, or AP Calculus BC, I can share test-specific strategies to help you put your best foot forward on exam day. Effective test prep requires a combination of academic review and analysis of an exam's structure, and I won't neglect either attribute.
