I have a BA as well as an Master of Arts in Teaching from Brandeis University. I am currently a third year PhD student at McGill studying Education. My research interests are social-emotional learning and early childhood education.

Experience

I have over 10 years of classroom teaching experience and 8 years of in-person and online tutoring experience. I am also a course lecturer at McGill teaching pre-service undergraduates. I love tutoring because it allows me to design lessons specifically tailored to the individual. I also have experience working with children with learning challenges and diagnoses. I can help with organization skills, graphic organizers and strategies to help them succeed in the classroom.

Hobbies

I design my first lesson to understand how your child works best and by which modality. I find the best environment for your child to learn is with minimal distraction where the focus can be solely on them. My hobbies include traveling to see my family, who live in the US. I also love to cook, especially for my friends!
