Experience

I have been tutoring privately in the Montreal area since 2007. I was a Math and Physics teacher at a high school in Venezuela for three years, and a Teaching Assistant in Math at a University in Venezuela for one year. Math and physics are my passion, so I want my students to leave aside any fear of numbers and find the joy of understanding something new. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and always put myself in my student's shoes so I can see from their point of view and find the best way for each student to learn. As an international engineering student, my base of math and physics is very strong. I prioritize understanding the concept before solving a problem. To teach a certain topic, I first use a related practical problem. I provide my students with problems to practice the subject we're studying to help them with their projects and assignments. I'm available for middle and secondary school students and CEGEP.
