Private tutor in Montréal, Canada

Education

I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from McGill University where I earned a 3.67 GPA.

Experience

I am able to help students with a range of reading, writing, and history concepts and skills. I am able to help students ranging from 1st to 11th grades with course work, including math. I have previous experience tutoring students at the secondary level. I have completed four student-teaching internships in high schools around the West Island, including Lindsay Place High School, Beaconsfield High School, St-Thomas High School, and Westwood Junior High School. I have taught units pertaining to Shakespeare, debating, poetry, and playwriting. I am currently a substitute teacher for both the Lester B. Pearson and EMSB school boards. I can also help students prepare for the CLEP English Literature exam. My familiarity with the exam makes it possible for me to help them with both the content on the test as well as the format and time constraints.
