I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Alberta in 2011 and a Master of Science degree in Forest Biology and Management from the same institution in 2018.

Experience

I worked as a teaching assistant for senior undergraduate classes at the University of Alberta and have also coached sailing and acrobatics, giving me plenty of experience working with students. My career as a biologist helps me explain abstract concepts in practical ways to deepen a learner's understanding of the material. I love to teach! I can help students with all levels of science, ranging from elementary school to college-level courses such as Zoology, Environmental Science, and Agricultural Science. I can also help students prepare for the science sections of standardized exams such as MCAT Biological Sciences and the GRE Subject Test in Biology. I am comfortable teaching study and organizational skills that are applicable in many different fields as well.
