Education

I graduated from HKUST majoring in Environmental Science (CGPA 3.86, first-class honours) in a research-intensive undergraduate program. I have extensive knowledge in microbiology, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, statistics and all environmental sciences (soil, ocean, atmospheric). Right now, I am doing my master degree at McGill University with research encompassing soil and climate science, as well as statistics and biogeochemical modeling. Right now I have a CGPA of 3.92 at McGill. I have perfect English despite being born in Hong Kong. I was once an English buddy at my undergrad university to help other students learn English through fun small-group activities.

Experience

I was predominantly a tutor in General Chemistry and Biology for high school students (I got the highest grade in chemistry at my HK public exam). I have limited experience in teaching foreign high school curricula (I have tutored several IB chemistry students in the past) but I am very confident that I can teach well once you show me your curricula or weak areas. I am also very confident in teaching university-level subjects. I recently scored the highest in a graduate statistic course among thirty other top-quality graduate students at McGill. But still, statistics is not my best area, I am even better at chemistry and environmental sciences (soil science being my most comfortable area). The tutoring rate is negotiable. A convenient location is my first priority.
