I have an extensive educational background, including earning my Ph.D. in Chemical and Biotechnological Engineering from the Universite de Sherbrooke in Quebec, Canada. I specialized in cell signaling, gene and protein expressions, and biomaterials. I attended Virginia Tech University, where I graduated in 2013 with my Master's in Chemical Engineering in microfluidics and gene delivery systems. I also have a Master's in Chemical Engineering in food processing and emulsification from the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran.
I have extensive experience working as a TA. In 2016 I worked as a TA at Universite de Sherbrooke. In 2012 and 2013 I was a TA for mass and energy balance at Virginia Tech. In 2013 I also worked as a TA of a fluid mechanics course at Virginia Tech. In 2011 I was a teacher's assistant for thermodynamics and separation processes at Virginia Tech as well. My main interests are fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamic, and math.
