Because each student is different, a one-size-fits-all lecture is not the most effective way to learn a new subject. This is your opportunity to ask specific questions and work on topics you need the most help with. Our instructors have mastered the courses they tutor and are patient in helping you attain your goals. Before each session, you can let us know which specific topics you need help on and we will focus precisely on those in order to maximize your time. We will teach you strategies on how to approach problems and solve them successfully. A stress free environment where you can ask any question and have someone guide you in the right direction is a more effective way to learn and get the grade you have always wanted. TutorPro Group Study Sessions Do you study with friends? TutorPro also offers group tutoring of up to 4 people.* Group sessions are great because you and your friends can prepare problems and work through them as a group with a qualified tutor. This gives you the chance to ask many questions, but also review the problems with your friends at a later time. If you understand the material a little bit faster than your friend, you can help them or vice versa. The group sessions are very dynamic, and they offer a lot of interaction unlike your typical classroom lecture where you sit and listen for what feels like forever. *If you would like to request a study session with a group of larger than 4 persons, please let us know. Special rates apply. TutorPro Intensive Exam Preparation Sessions The intensive exam prep sessions are designed to improve the time management and organization skills of students. These sessions help students to cope with stress and reduce the amount of time required to provide precise answers on test questions. These sessions are instructed through the means of practice tests, review of notes, and short essays. This program is recommended to students in mathematics, sciences, and psychology. These sessions take place 2-3 weeks prior to the final exam for college and university students. You must register at least 1 week prior to the start of the session. Students meet with their tutors for 4 hrs up to 3 times per week.
