Teacher of English as a Second Language, over 30 years of experience. I have tutored adults considering their specific needs when learning a language. I have tutored children learning English, and have helped them gain confidence in themselves. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. My mother tongue is English. I have also taught online. I combine the use of the communicative teaching method with power point presentations, flashcards, and some useful links on the internet. The activities are selected and presented according to the student's needs and interests. I prefer to teach at my home but we can arrange to meet at another place, for example, a cafeteria downtown, or at your place.
