Yan M.

Private tutor in Montréal, Canada

Education

Double Specialist Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics at University of Toronto, Masters in Physics at York University

Experience

I've worked as a piano and music theory instructor at the Ontario Conservatory of Music for 8 years. For the last 5 years I've tutored mathematics and physics privately, for students in grades 10-12 as well as university-level Calculus. While doing my Masters degree, I've also been a lab coordinator, demonstrating laboratory work in physics, as well as explaining material necessary for the experiments the students would work on. I've also held seminar components of courses, facilitating problem solving skills as well as expanding on material taught in lectures.

Hobbies

I like classical music and go to concerts often. I also used to be a competitive latin dancer, though my career has made it difficult to balance this, and so I only stick to casual salsa dancing now.
