William S.

Private tutor in Montréal, Canada

Education

I hold a JD in Common Law from the University of Ottawa, an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics (with High Distinction), and a BA with Honors in History and English Literature from the University of Toronto (with Distinction).

Experience

I consider myself a qualified tutor because I possess a wide range of knowledge in fields such as world history, geopolitics, international relations, literature, film, and law. I also taught English in Japan for four months and have published articles in several different international publications. I am comfortable helping students with a variety of courses, including World Literature, World History, twelfth-grade writing, African History, and eleventh-grade reading. I am also familiar with several standardized exams, including AP European History and AP World History. If the student in your life is nervous about the Document-Based Question (or DBQ) that they'll have to write on either test, I can make it feel less intimidating.
