I am currently a Candidate for Masters of Arts at Concordia University. My focus of study is in therapeutic recreation research. I have also completed my Bachelor of Arts in Honors Recreation and Leisure Studies at the University of Waterloo. I majored in Therapeutic and Business recreation & minored in Psychology. In addition, I also completed the Co-operative Education Program, providing me with two years of paid work experience in my field of study.
Experience
I am currently a teaching assistant at Concordia University, which has provided me lots of experiencing in editing papers and evaluating proper citations in academic writing. I also have taught a few classes, and received good reviews from both my supervisor and the students. Additionally, I have two years of practical experience working with individuals who have mental health issues. I have specifically worked for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Waterloo Regional Homes for Mental Health, and The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Hospital.
