Brittany M.
Private tutor in Montréal, Canada
Education
I'm presently attending Concordia University. I am taking a Bachelor of Arts in Honours English Literature and a minor in History. I have a 3.7 GPA average. I also studied Classical Music and English at Vanier College, graduating with Honours.
Experience
I tutored at West Island Music Academy last year in voice lessons, music history, music theory, ear training and composition. I also tutored English for two years at Vanier College, mostly for ESL students. I have two brothers, both with a learning disability. My eldest brother was dyslexic and my other brother had ADHD. I was always on hand to help with their homework and this was where my passion for teaching began. I want to continue my experiences with tutoring as I plan on continuing my schooling in a MATL (Master's of Teaching and Learning) program at McGill University. I want to become a high school teacher. One of the best experiences is seeing your students succeed.

I love animals and sports. I spend a lot of time out of doors. I grew up in a rural Ontario community. I played sports in high school, mostly rugby, badminton and soccer. I have two brothers, both with a learning disability. My eldest brother was dyslexic and my other brother had ADHD. I was always on hand to help with their homework and this was where my passion for teaching began.
