Education
I graduated from Swarthmore College in 2014 with a degree in History and Educational Studies. The title of my thesis was "Civilization, Progress, and Solidarity: Communist Counternarratives of the 1931 Paris International Colonial Exposition." I have also studied photography and music. Before that, I graduated from Ecole Active Bilingue Jeannine Manuel with a "Baccalaureat avec Option Internationale Section Economique" with "Mention Bien."
Experience
I currently work as a language instructor teaching students between the ages of 8 and 16 in English and French, but that's not the extent of my teaching experience. I have also worked as a 1st Grade Assistant Teacher, Study Hall Teacher, and substitute at the French International School of Philadelphia. Furthermore, I served as a French tutor while working on my degree at Swarthmore College. I also have professional experience as a photographer and translator that I try to incorporate into study sessions whenever possible. I am comfortable with a variety of subjects, including all levels of French, 10th Grade math, and eighth-grade writing.
