Experience
Chinese is a great language and I hope that I can help you achieve fluency in it! I have studied Chinese at the university level in both Canada and China, so I understand the rigors of learning it as a foreign language. I also lived in Shanghai for a year, allowing me to completely immerse myself in the native language. I can leverage that experience to use simulated immersion to help you pursue your goals. I can help with all aspects of Mandarin Chinese, including vocab, writing, common phrases, sentence structure, pronunciation, and grammatical rules. I have taught guitar for a long time, so I understand how to connect with students and feel very comfortable in a teaching role. I can also speak English and French, allowing me to teach in three different languages.
